SMALL APIARY

If you only have a few hives, we will prepare individual containers for you. You will need one container for each hive every 4-5 days for a total of three treatments. The fifth slide will show you how to apply the treatment.

LARGE APIARY

If you have many hives, we will premix a larger quantity of medication and send it in a pail along with a small cup. The cup will measure the appropriate amount of treatment needed for each hive.

MEASURING SCOOP

You will use this scoop to measure out the appropriate amount of powder you will need for each hive. Two ounces of mixture per hive is all you will need.

COLLECTING THE PREMIXED POWDER

While in the apiary, go from hive to hive, measure 2 ounces of mixed powder from the container and apply it to each hive. Wear gloves while handling the powder. You can purchase nitrile gloves from our online store.

TREATING THE HIVE

Open up each hive and sprinkle the powder along both ends of the frames evenly. Use gloves when handling the medicated mixture.
